Our medication-assisted treatment program (MAT) offers methadone, a long-acting medication designed to reduce the intensity of withdrawal and cravings associated with opioid use disorder. When taken daily, methadone acts by connecting to opioid receptors in the brain, resulting in decreased relapse rates and better long-term recovery results.
In addition to administering methadone, our program combines it with counseling and other forms of care to create the most effective treatment plan for opioid addiction and a successful journey to sobriety.
