Services

Fresno Opioid Addiction Treatment Services

Our program offers the following services:

  • Methadone maintenance and detoxification: Methadone has years of demonstrated results showing its effectiveness in relieving opioid withdrawal symptoms.
  • Buprenorphine maintenance and detoxification: Buprenorphine serves a similar purpose to methadone, but it provides a different treatment experience.
  • Individual counseling: As part of their MAT program, every patient has one-on-one counseling that addresses the emotional aspects of opioid use disorder.
  • Pregnancy treatment program: Our treatment services for pregnant patients take individual needs into account to ensure a healthy mother and child.
  • Case management services: The case managers at MedMark Fresno coordinate care services across providers for consistent treatment.
  • Referrals to community resources: We can refer patients to community services that help with life’s necessities, including food and housing.
  • Follow-up and discharge planning: Our team continues to support patients after treatment through discharge planning and follow-up contact.

Your care team will help you determine which services will work best for your needs. Every patient’s care plan consists of a combination of these options.

The Importance of Patient Support Groups

In addition to our clinical and social services, we host support groups where patients can discuss their recovery. Some groups we support include:

  • Specialty groups: Addiction impacts everyone in different ways, and specialty groups account for these differences.
  • Young adults group: Young adults dealing with opioid use disorder can share their experiences with recovery in this group.
  • Methadone Anonymous group: The members of Methadone Anonymous support one another in their methadone regimen.
  • Women’s support group: Women have unique experiences with opioid use disorder recovery that they can share in this group.
  • Mommies on Methadone group: Mothers working through methadone treatment talk about parenting and recovery with each other in this group.

We can refer patients to these groups and more that are aimed at creating community spaces for people going through recovery.

Transportation Routes:

How to Get to Our Treatment Center

Our clinic’s location on M Street places it near multiple bus stations on the 01, 20, 22 and 28 routes. You can use our on-site parking spaces if you drive to your appointments.

The Patient Experience at MedMark Fresno

All new patients participate in an intake appointment, where we discuss medical and clinical needs. You can schedule this visit in advance or make a walk-in. We recommend requesting an appointment before your visit out of respect for your time. The intake lasts about two to three hours, and you’ll take your medicine for the first time at the end of the visit.

After we create a treatment plan based on your intake, you’ll participate in your MAT program. You’ll take medicine that reduces your withdrawal symptoms every day and attend individual therapy appointments.
